How often do you throw away the best part of a lemon or orange ?


OK so where's the best part of a lemon or orange?   It's in the skin in those tiny little cells when you look up close..it's the zest. We've all been guilty of peeling the fruit then throwing out the skin at least once in our lives when we've focused on using the inside fruit to eat or juice.  When a recipe calls for lemon juice in particular I add in the zest too and WOW this really jazzes up the dish.

Here's a handy little gadget.  When someone showed me one of these a few years ago; I couldnt get my hands on one quick enough. These days I wouldn't be without it.   No need for the grater when this handy gadget is in the kitchen.
